'Sons of Anarchy' Casts Former Disney Star Ashley Tisdale (as a Prostitute?)

The cast for "Sons of Anarchy" season 5 continues to grow, and with it we get more and more hints at what the new season will hold.

The newest addition to the cast is Ashley Tisdale, whom you might recognize if you're a fan of the Disney Channel (or have kids who are). Tisdale starred in the "High School Musical" movies as well as shows like "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," enjoying a big boost from her career with Disney. Tisdale is also a frequent voice actress, appearing on shows like "Phineas & Ferb." She also starred in the short-lived CW series "Hellcats."

But Tisdale's role in "SOA" will be considerably more adult: THR reports that Tisdale will play a high-priced escort by the name of Emma Jean, who "complicates the club's life." Her arc is only two episodes, so either she causes her trouble and then gets out, or... well, or something else happens to her. Tisdale joins Jimmy Smits on the list of guest stars for the season, though Smits' role will be a season-long arc.

This is just another bit of big news for Tisdale, who recently also landed the lead in "Scary Movie 5," taking over for Anna Faris.  Tisdale also recently wrapped work on a project from Spike Ferensten and Louis CK.
